| Getting Organized
What is clutter?
According to the Webster’s New World dictionary, clutter is described as “jumble; confusion; disorder”. Other synonyms are chaos and disarray.
How do I know if I need an organizer?
If you feel any of these clutter definitions apply to your surroundings, you may need the services of a professional organizer. Some people can have clutter around them and still function normally. They can find their keys, pay their bills on time, enjoy their collections and spend little time looking for “lost” items. However, if you are always searching for papers, paying late fees because you’ve lost your bills, or unable to enjoy your surroundings because your stuff has no home, you need to get organized.
If you are surrounded by things that have no apparent home and you feel over whelmed and confused about what to do, then you could benefit from the services of an organizer.
A professional organizer will be an objective, non-judgmental pair of eyes that see your problem from a unique perspective and offer solutions suited to your needs.
If your clutter keeps you from enjoying your home and life or prevents you from being as productive and as effective as you could be at home or at work, then you could benefit from the assistance of a professional organizer. A professional organizer will offer solutions about how to handle the stuff that is taking over your life and how to maintain the systems that we set up together. Whether it is how to dispose of unwanted items or how to store the important things, a professional organizer will offer resources and solutions.
Giving you space...
We will work hand in hand to give you the organized space you desire. After the initial free ½ hour consultation during which we look at the problems, talk about your life and your priorities and discuss a timeline for the work, we will start! We will decide what area is the worst and/or bothers you the most. Once you’ve decided to change your life forever, we will take it step by step and decide what items you should keep and get rid of. We will not force you to dispose of stuff you use, love or need. However, if an item does not fall into the use, love or need categories, I will strongly urge you to part with it.
